Emily’s Education and Experience
Currently residing and working in Rochester, New York, I am happy to be serving the construction industry with quality detailing services. My diverse experience includes sustainable design and tourism development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Bolivia, entrepreneurship as a natural stone and cast stone detailing consultant, and working as an Intern Architect towards architectural licensure. I have a Bachelors of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, and am a LEED Green Associate, up-to-date on current materials and methods for environmentally conscious design.
I have twelve years of experience in providing detailing services to natural stone, cast stone, and millwork contractors. From single bathroom projects in a New York City apartment to full city block multi-use buildings in Houston, I have participated in a variety of projects, providing accurate and aesthetically pleasing shop drawings in a timely manner.
As an Intern Architect, I have experience in residential and commercial renovation design and detailing, and developing drawing packages at all stages of the design process: Field Measurements, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents. I also have experience in proposing aesthetically pleasing and sustainable interior material schemes. I have worked on many project types but have the most experience in Healthcare build-outs, single-family residences, and municipal buildings.
